At Green by Nature, we're proud to be a trusted service provider of Gisborne District Council. Dedicated to maintaining the beauty of Gisborne and its surrounding area's parks, playgrounds, gardens and public facilities. To do so, we are looking for two fixed term Facilities Operators, one for 6 and one for 12 months.

What does an Facilities Operator do you ask?

Your role will see you take on the responsibility for scheduled cleaning and maintenance of public facilities in the area including public restrooms, bus stops and barbecue areas. The work also involves supporting the wider team with general rubbish collection and cleaning duties of park assets. 

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Experience working in a maintenance or cleaning role is useful though not essential
  • A current full driver's licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle
  • You will be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Have the desire to complete all work to a high standard
