Green by Nature are currently in the process of submitting a tender for the Statford District Council Open Space Maintenance work.

We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates looking for a job opportunity in the below-skilled roles:

  • Team Manager
  • Horticulturists (Minimum Level 4 qualification)
  • Gardener
  • Mower Operators
  • Response Operators (additional experience across Sexton or Playground Operator positions would be advantageous)
  • Contract Administrator (part time role, approximately 15 hours per week)

If you have a Level 3/4 Certificate in Horticulture, GrowSafe, Registered Chemical Applicator, RoSPA or Level 3 Playgrounds certification, NZ Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety or other relevant qualifications, we'd love to discuss your fit for our proposed tender.

Once the submission has been made (early March) and we hear the outcome of our bid, we will advise of the outcome of your application. The start date of the contract is scheduled for July 2026. If successful, we will begin interview, background checks and assigning contracts around late April early May.
