Mower Operator

What does a Mower Operator do you ask?

Well for starters you get to work across some of New Zealand's most picturesque scenery and you will be responsible for the upkeep of some of the regions many parks, reserves and cemeteries. Your day-to-day will include mowing and weed eating of your designated sites, general upkeep of your equipment and overall ensuring the grounds you look after are always well presented and to the client's specifications. This role plays a vital part in the upkeep of our community, making you an invaluable asset to our team!

Who we are looking for:

Ideally, we would love someone who has experience with a range of small plant or ride-on mowers. You'll be a hard worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you are a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:

• A full, current driver's license with the ability to drive a manual - even better if you have a class 2
• Enjoy working outside and get great satisfaction from a job well done
• Physically fit and able as the role doesn't just mean you sit on your mower all day!
• Basic computer skills will be beneficial for timesheets, signing off jobs and managing safety requirements
• A commitment to upholding our company's Health and Safety policies
• A positive, can-do attitude, that shows a willingness to learn and grow
