If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have your full NZ drivers' licence, then this role would suit you! We currently have a vacancy for a Mower Operator to join our high-performing RDC team.
What does a Mower Operator do you ask?
You will be responsible for general parks and grounds maintenance with activities including (and we will train you if you're not an expert), mowing, push mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant and ensuring that the grounds always look well presented. This is a varied, physical role upkeeping our local community.
Who we are looking for:
Ideally, we would love someone who has experience as a Mower Operator, however, this is not a must. As long as you are a hard-worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include
- A full, current driver license with the ability to drive a manual - even better if you have a class 2!
- Enjoy working outside and get great satisfaction from a job well done
- Physically fit and able as you won't just be sitting on a mower everyday!
- Basic computer skills will be beneficial
- A commitment to upholding our company's Health and Safety policies
- A positive, can-do attitude, that shows a willingness to learn and grow
