Vegetation Spray Operator

To upkeep our commitment to keep Auckland looking pristine, we are now looking for another member to join us as a Vegetation Spray Operator!

What you'll do:

This position involves spray operations and vegetation control tasks such as:

• Chemical spraying and application of organic herbicides
• Manual removal of weeds and pest plants
• Operating spray equipment and machinery
• Planting and pruning of roses, shrubs and herbaceous perennials
• Undertake other tasks that may be necessary

Who we are looking for:

Ideally, we would love someone who has pest plant management experience; however, this is not a must. As long as you are a hard worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:

• A clean and current drivers' licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
• Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your teammates needs to be second nature
• A desire to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures
• Tonnes of motivation with a strong desire to get this job done 
• Physically fit - the role does involve a lot of walking and bending
