About the Centre
Warragul Leisure Centre boasts 3 indoor pool areas including an 8 lane 25m pool, program pool and attached splash park and warm water pool. Warragul also has an outdoor seasonal 50m pool that is open from November to April each year. The role will oversee other associated the Y Victoria pools in the local region.
About the Role
The Aquatics Coordinator will be directly responsible for the Swimming Lesson program at Warragul Leisure Centre, including the daily Swimming Lesson programs, Schools Swimming Lesson programs, and Access Programs. We are searching for a Aquatics Coordinator who can manage and lead our team of swim teachers, and deliver quality program to our students.
This role is responsible for the performance, adherence, and maintenance of the KPI's associated with the program. The successful candidate will make financially sound, evidence-based decisions to continue to grow the program sustainably in the future. Key responsibilities include;
- Leading teams & work areas
- Centre leadership
- Maximise the customer experience
- Human resources & staff performance management
- Quality management & compliance
- Reporting, & administration
This is a part-time position with a starting hourly rate of $34.45 + Super & Y Benefits.

Essential Qualifications
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate
Other Desired Qualifications
- Infant/Pre-School Swim Teaching Certificates
- Access and Inclusion Certificate
- Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management or similar
