About the Role 

As a Senior Operations Coordinator at the Fawkner Leisure Centre you will manage the Duty Manager Team and Lifeguard teams. You will oversee recruitment and onboarding for your team and support with employee training and development in addition to rostering and timesheets. You will ensure the daily operations of the centre are in line with contractual requirements, quality systems and industry guidelines. You will manage Health & Safety, Risk and Environment, plus all facility maintenance and strategic asset management including contractor relationships. You will develop and optimize facility hire opportunities and manage all associated budgets and reporting.

This is a full-time position with a salary between $76,884-$81,642 per annum + super, dependent on experience.

About You 

  • 1-2 years leadership experience in aquatic facility operations.
  • Your demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills enable you to inspire and engage our duty manager team.
  • You possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, allowing you to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks.
  • You will have a comprehensive understanding of risk management practices and safety management systems

Essential Qualifications   

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
  • Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate

  • Aquatic Technical Operator
  • Working at Heights Training
  • Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
