About the Centre
The Peter Krenz Leisure Centre is owned by the City of Greater Bendigo and proudly managed by YMCA Victoria. The Centre provides a wide range of programs and activities, including Learn to Swim, Group Fitness, Recreational Swimming, Health and Fitness, Stadium and Squash hire. The main goal of the YMCA is to provide opportunities for all people to be more active, more often and help them reach their personal fitness goals. Our friendly team is highly qualified and has the experience to help you reach your training goals – whatever they may be.
About the Role
You will be responsible for facilitating and supervising children’s birthday parties in a fun and safe manner. You will provide the highest level of customer service for the children’s parents and guardians, and will have a genuine concern for and interest in the wellbeing of children.
At Peter Krenz Leisure Centre, we pride ourselves on our supportive and energetic environment, and we are looking for a Birthday Party Leader who can bring their own positive energy to our team. This is a Casual role with pay of $31.18 + super + Y benefits.
About You
As Birthday Party Leader, you will genuinely enjoy working with children, and will demonstrate strong communication skills, customer service skills and team-work. We believe leadership is an important part every person’s role at YMCA Victoria, and that all people at the Y have leadership responsibilities. This may be in leading themselves, teams, functions, or the organisation.
Essential Qualifications
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid.
- HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Victorian Employee Working With Children Check.
