About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Product & Performance Recreation, the Sales Performance & Retention Manager is responsible for driving significant revenue growth and expanding membership across all Recreation contracts within Y Victoria, encompassing Health & Wellness, Swimming Lessons, and Gymnastics.
This role will strategically enhance secondary spend revenue, develop and implement impactful sales initiatives, cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, and empower operational teams to achieve ambitious business objectives. The role will also be instrumental in elevating the sales capabilities of operational teams across the entire recreational sector and collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and customer teams to deliver a seamless customer journey and optimise retention. Key responsibilities include:

· Team Leadership, Coaching, Training & Relationship Management
· Marketing & Promotions Support
· Operational & Financial Management
This is a full time position where you’ll have a hybrid working model, between working from home, our State Office in Box Hill. There will be a requirement to travel to Centres accross the State. The remuneration for this role is $109,900 plus super.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have had proven experience in a sales management role, preferably within the recreation, fitness, or aquatic industry. Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving sales performance and team development is essential along with the ability to influence large groups of people. Other key requirements include:
- Excellent communication, training, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in using systems and data analysis tools to drive sales insights and decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing market conditions.
