About the role 

As an Assistant Store Manager (known internally as Customer Service Manager), you’re key in supporting the Store Manager to help the store reach its full sales potential, run smoothly, and create a positive, engaging environment for the team.

In this role, you’ll be the customer experience and coaching lead, setting the rhythm and service standard and driving development and performance on the floor. Supporting a team of up to 25, with 6–10 on the floor at any time, you'll work alongside a small but collaborative and solutions focussed leadership team. To thrive here, you’ll ideally bring:

  • Proven leadership and coaching experience (retail preferred, but not essential)
  • Experience in customer centric roles and the ability to lead by example, delivering top-tier service
  • Confidence leading diverse teams with a natural ability to motivate and inspire others
  • A goal-driven mindset — you know how to lift standards and build capability
  • Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security
