We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and evolving scalable, high-quality software that powers critical workforce and operational systems. You’ll contribute across the full stack, from backend services to frontend experiences, helping deliver reliable, performant solutions used in real-world, high-impact environments.

You’ll thrive if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working across the stack in a collaborative team, and taking ownership of delivering robust, production-ready features.

As our newest Software Engineer, you’ll:

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality software across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications
• Deliver features end-to-end, ensuring code is tested, meets acceptance criteria, and aligns with engineering standards
• Contribute to system performance, scalability, and reliability, including addressing technical debt and production issues
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to define, build, and deliver solutions aligned to customer and business needs
• Participate in agile ceremonies, providing input into estimates, technical design, and continuous improvement
• Support production environments, including troubleshooting issues and contributing to stable product releases
• Write clean, maintainable code aligned with best practices such as clean architecture and modern development standards

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is pragmatic, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering quality software. You’re a strong team player who communicates clearly, takes ownership of your work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You’ll also bring:

• Strong backend experience with Java/Spring, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Frontend experience with TypeScript and Angular, including working in hybrid AngularJS/Angular environments
• Experience with databases and caching layers such as MySQL/Aurora and Redis
• Familiarity with AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, RDS) and modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK)
• Experience building and integrating APIs, handling async data, and working with modern build tools
• Exposure to mobile development (React Native/Expo) is a plus
• Strong testing mindset, including unit and component testing (Jest, Jasmine, or similar)
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and the ability to critically evaluate generated code
• Solid understanding of clean code principles, performance optimisation, and debugging across the stack
