Road Clearer & Heavy Vehicle Driver

We are seeking a dedicated heavy vehicle driver, experienced navigating winter alpine conditions to join our roads team. In this role, you will operate road clearing machinery and drive other heavy machinery as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate road clearing machinery and other heavy vehicles.
• Assist in maintaining road safety and accessibility.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.

Licences/ experience:

• Previous experience operating vehicles is essential.
• Previous experience operating snow-clearing equipment; snowplows, grit trucks, or front-end loaders, preferred.
• Holds and Maintains a New Zealand Class 4 licence.
• Dangerous Goods, Wheels, Tracks and Forklift endorsements preferred.

A flexible approach to work schedules is a must; hours of work will include weekend work and night shifts as required by operational and weather conditions throughout the ski season.
