Qualified Electrician (Industrial)

Position overview

The roles involve performing electrical maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting systems on plant (primarily ski area lifts), equipment and buildings, and collaborating closely with the IT department.

The successful candidates will assist with parts ordering, liaise with contractors, and support daily operational tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Essential qualifications include a New Zealand electrical registration and practicing license. Experience in ski field maintenance or industrial electronics is preferred.

• You need to have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, be physically fit and able, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• The ability to work at heights is essential, as is a strong commitment to operational excellence and safe working practices.
