As a Registered Electrician - Smart Meters you will be an integral part of our Invercargill Metering team who install smart meters in residential and commercial properties. The work is varied and interesting, with opportunities for personal and industry growth.
You will manage allocated tasks whilst ensuring the work complies with legislative, company and client requirements. And what better place to live and work with the vibrant community and opportunities that Invercargill offers!
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday, with a competitive hourly rate and opportunity for overtime and allowances, subject to skills and experience.
About You – Skills and Experience
You will be a highly motivated individual who has a pragmatic, flexible and adaptable team approach, along with the passion to grow and develop at PowerNet.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Electrician with at least 1 years’ experience in the electricity industry within NZ and a current EWRB registration
- Has a current Class 1 Drivers licence
- Demonstrates strong computer skills, including the use of mobile data entry tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Has highly developed interpersonal skills with a track record of building excellent customer relationships.
- Is organised with a good level of written and oral communication skills and a great team player
