About the role

In this role, you’ll lead our Business Intelligence (BI) team. They’re tasked with the creation and maintenance of data-driven insights to improve organisational decision making. You’ll focus on the growth and development of specialist people. People who will understand, assess, and deliver on Powerco’s current and future BI needs. You’ll also need to promote and champion Business Intelligence across Powerco, guiding our transition to a data-informed, intelligence-driven future.

This work requires a holistic, people-centred approach, with a laser-focus on how Business Intelligence can improve business performance, making a positive difference to Powerco and the customers and communities we serve. We know the ‘why’ behind BI - we need your expertise and passion to help make the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ a reality .

Skills & Experience

To successfully carry out the role, you will need:

  • ​Knowledge and experience across Business Intelligence and analytics domains, including the SAP Data & Analytics platform (e.g. SAP Business Warehouse, SAC, Datasphere)
  • Proven leadership in BI or analytics teams, with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the build, development and maintenance of an effective Business Intelligence practice – ideally including experience with DevOps practices
  • A growth mindset
