Delivery Planning Excellence Manager
New Plymouth, Tauranga or Palmerston North
About the role
This is a newly created leadership role within our Electricity Programme and Delivery team. We are looking for a skilled leader with the ability to lead a team of project professionals in building project planning excellence. This role combines continuous improvement, high performance, delivery and relationships. Your vision of delivery excellence and how great planning contributes to this will be essential.
You’ll need to be exceptional at building relationships and credibility both internally and externally; have a solid background in project planning and delivery; be naturally curious and innovative towards change and process improvements whilst influencing those around you towards solutions. You will be results focussed with strengths in bringing others along with you.
Skills & Experience which will ensure success
- Extensive leadership experience combining interpersonal abilities with innovation. You’re likely to have held similar roles previously.
- A successful track record in delivering results and executing engineering projects on time, on budget at best practice standard
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, the knack of clearly and expertly conveying information in a compelling way
- Depth in leading continuous improvement processes to ensure engagement of people and change effectively embedded
- An analytical approach to risk and decision making
