If you’re results-driven and have proven experience in installing, commissioning, and delivering PV solar system projects, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for a highly organised professional who’s meticulous with technical, commercial, and project information, and who always keeps quality, safety, and client satisfaction at the forefront.
Reporting to the Base Power Business Manager, you will play a key role in planning projects, managing procurement and inventory, supervising site activities, and building strong client relationships. You’ll lead field operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and champion continuous improvements to our systems and processes.
The role requires regular travel across New Zealand to project sites, including remote and rural locations.
To be a success in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand electrical standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations
- Ability to engage and quickly establish and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience delivering PV solar system projects (design, installation, commissioning, and/or maintenance).
- Experience with standalone, off-grid, hybrid solar systems or microgrids is highly desirable.
- Registered New Zealand Electrician (current EWRB practising licence is essential)
It would ideal if you have:
- Hands-on experience managing procurement, field teams, and remote project delivery.
- Creativity and ability to solve problems in unconventional ways
- Experience with project management software and tools
