Customer Delivery Support (CDS) – Powering Projects from Behind the Scenes
📍 Te Aroha / Morrinsville
🕐 Permanent - Full-time
Organised, proactive, and ready to make an impact? This could be the role for you.
As a Customer Delivery Support (CDS), you’ll work alongside our Project Managers to help make sure customer electricity projects are delivered smoothly, safely, and on time.
This isn’t just about admin — it’s about making projects happen. You'll be at the centre of delivery activity, coordinating logistics, managing systems, supporting technical processes, and keeping everyone in the loop. If you’re organised, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of an industry that matters, this role could be your next step.
Why this role?
You’ll support a wide range of electricity projects, working closely with both internal teams and external contractors and customers. From setting up systems and tracking progress, to managing documentation and liaising with customers — your work will help projects stay on track, on budget, and deliver a great outcome for our customers.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in project coordination, technical knowledge, or customer service in an operational environment. This role provides the potential for career progression into project management over time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting electricity project delivery from customer application through to connection
- Coordinating key workflows, documentation, and scheduling across internal teams and external contractors
- Tracking project progress, identifying risks or delays, and helping to keep things moving
- Handling key systems and processes including work orders, purchase orders, approvals, and records
- Communicating with customers, resolving queries, and contributing to great outcomes
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in co-ordination, operations, customer service and technical support – ideally in utilities, construction, or a similar industry.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts with attention to detail. Comfort with change and ambiguity as we evolve in the way we work.
- Great communication – you know how to work well with customers, contractors and your teammates.
- A strong systems and process mindset with confidence using technical systems and tools to manage information, track progress and ensure delivery.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
If you’re highly organised, technically curious, and thrive in a busy environment where your support helps projects succeed — let’s talk. We are working to tight timescales on this recruitment so would encourage early applications from candidates as we will be reviewing CVs throughout the process.
