Graduate Gas Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic Graduate Engineer to work alongside a team of capable and experienced gas industry professionals to assist in strategy development, planning, designing and maintaining the performance of our gas network assets.

Graduate Engineers will assist with the:

  • Investigation of network data and providing technical input for strategy development, maintenance and inspection programmes, and renewal programmes.
  • Preparation of network modelling reports assessing changing customer demand trends, emerging technologies and identifying required network solutions.
  • Designing network solutions, looking into network performance, technical standards, risk management and contingency plans, and developing design documentation.
  • Project management of gas network construction projects and developing project approval documentation.
  • Contractor management to assist with ensuring a high level of network construction and maintenance is upheld. 
  • Customer account management to ensure network construction meets customer and business expectations.

The successful Graduate needs to have:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Chemical and Process or Mechanical) or Diploma in engineering, or a closely related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork ethic and can-do attitude
  • An affinity for technology
  • A strong drive to innovate and improve


NOTE: This role will start in early 2021 - applicants must have completed their degree or diploma by this date.
