About the role:
You will provide first level IT support to the organisation by being the first point of contact in our Service Desk Team. You will also assist in developing procedural documentation and liaising with service providers while also ensuring all IS support calls are responded to in a professional timely manner.
If you have top notch customer service skills and love solving problems you’re the type of person we want to hear from. Delivering fantastic service to our customers (staff and contractors), and keeping them informed is one of the main function of this role. The other main function is to fix technical issues related to the end-user environment (Laptop, Mobile phone, Videoconference system) especially on Microsoft Windows Environment. This is a perfect opportunity to improve technical skills in a highly complex environment using best practice related to IT Service management such as ITIL
This role is part of a large team that thrives on working together to help all parts of the business.
The person we are looking for will have:
- IT proficiency or Interest in the following area: Windows 10, Office 365, Azure, ITIL Best Practice
- Ability to track task and update them through a ticketing system
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Great relationship building skills with the ability to interact at various levels across the organisation and with external customers/contractors
- Ability to follow process and consistently meet deadlines
- Proven problem solving skills
- Open to continuously learning new applications and software environments (change)
