About the role:
We are looking for a superstar experienced in treasury, banking, or investment management to join our small but dedicated team and play a key role in achieving Powerco’s business strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to flex your financial, analytical and people skills while also contributing to the decarbonization of New Zealand and our energy future!
The role will assist our Treasurer, provide operational leadership of treasury processes and support to two other team members, hold key relationships with our senior leadership and executive teams.
This is a full-time role with flexible or hybrid work opportunities.

This role may suit a candidate looking to take the next step in their financial career, someone with a background finance, financial markets or banking who is looking for a move to develop their breadth of expertise and abilities, or keen take a step into a leadership role.
Skills & Experience
We are open to a range of skills and experience as an analyst, although ideally you will have:
- a qualification or experience in treasury, finance, financial markets, banking, or investment management
- demonstrated skills in treasury or financial markets, financial analysis and modelling
- excellent communication and relationship skills
- risk management and decision-making skills
- leadership experience.
