Senior Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Engineer to add technical expertise and depth in this newly created role within our Technical Operations team.  Our ideal person will be confident in their technical experience and capabilities and proficient in providing technical guidance and analysis to stakeholders.    

Purpose of the Role

Your primary role will be to provide frontline engineering support as part of the internal technical services team to our internal and external stakeholders.   The role combines complex and niche problem solving requiring curiosity, solutions focused thinking and deep dive analysis alongside resolving more repetitive operational issues through analysis.                   

Skills and experience

As technical bench strength is a key requirement of the role, you will hold a BEng (Electrical or Mechanical) with a Chartered Professional Engineering Status or be working towards this coupled with at least 5 years plus experience in a similar role. You will have a breadth and depth of skills and knowledge in technical analytics and solution focused outcomes for customers.  A consultancy background may also set you up for success in this role.
