Asset Fleet Manager

New Plymouth, Tauranga, Wellington or Palmerston North

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Fleet Manager in this newly created role within our Electricity function. If you are a skilled leader with a solid asset management background and experience in the utilities or infrastructure sectors (electricity industry advantageous but not essential), we are keen to engage in a conversation with you.

About the role

Your primary role will be to lead our asset fleet team which plans for the asset replacement and maintenance of our electricity network through the development of fleet management plans to ensure our existing asset fleets are safe, resilient and reliable to support customer needs.

About you

Leadership is a key component of this role, so your skills and experience in creating a collaborative culture and environment which enables high performing teams will be utilised. You are likely to have an Engineering qualification and/or extensive experience in asset management, including understanding and application of asset planning, modelling and risk principles. Your experience will ensure you use your technical, commercial skills to help the team make risk informed decisions. You will also demonstrate excellent commercial acumen and communication skills, working alongside internal and external stakeholders.
