Summer Intern – Analytics
New Plymouth
Are you a pro-active, motivated and enthusiastic student looking for work experience in the summer holidays? We have summer/holiday work (Nov-Feb) for a student who is currently studying towards their future and has an interest in the electricity industry.
We are specifically looking for a student to assist the Analytics team with various projects which will include retrieving, analysing, sorting, and presenting the enormous amount of data Powerco collects and thinking about the best way we should handle this data in the future.
The student we are looking for will:
- Ideally be studying towards an Arts, Data Science, Computer Science or similar degree
- Have an eye for data
- Have solid analytical skills
- Have creative skills
- Have excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Possess effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Be self-motivated regardless of the task
- Enjoy working as part of a team but able to work autonomously
