About the role

As a Technology & Innovation Engineer, you’ll be on the lookout for ways that we can make Powerco more efficient, safe and future-ready – all while continuing to keep the lights on. You’ll actively reach out to a variety of teams across Powerco and work closely with them to understand the challenges they face. You can expect to be running cutting-edge technology projects and carrying out research tasks to help solve the Powerco challenges of today and the future.

What are we looking for from you?

  • An insatiable drive to innovate and improve the way we do things.
  • At least three years of experience in a relevant role in the electricity industry.
  • A strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for electric vehicles, solar power and battery storage.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong working relationships with a wide variety of people.
  • Strong written communication skills.
