About the role

As Head of Technical Services, you will join our collaborative Electricity Lead Team, playing a crucial role in ensuring that our Technical services team delivers risk informed, high quality internal technical consultancy and operational support services across Powerco.    You will be at the forefront of leading our technical advisory team, supporting the operationalisation of new technology, implementing value add engineering practices, providing first line operational engineering support and spearheading GIS specialism and data quality.   

About you

This is a key leadership role within our Electricity team so successful candidates will have extensive leadership experience and success in leading high performing multi-disciplinary teams with a growth mindset and positive culture.   Due to the technical nature of the team and role, our preference would be for Engineering candidates with Chartered status or working towards.   Alongside a proven track record in leadership, you will also have commercial acumen, the ability to work with stakeholders both strategically and operationally, build positive and professional relationships and possess exceptional communication skills to translate complexity simply and concisely.
