Summer Intern – Base Power Team
New Plymouth
Are you a pro-active, motivated and enthusiastic student looking for work experience in the summer holidays? We have summer/holiday work (Nov-Feb) for a student who is currently studying towards their future and has an interest in the electricity industry.
We are specifically looking for a student to assist the Base Power team with various projects which could include collecting data from Base Power units and assisting with the exciting Hydrogen Injection project.
The student we are looking for will:
- Be studying Engineering or a STEM subject at University. Ideally in your 3rd or 4th year.
- Have an interest in renewable energy.
- Have strong analytical skills
- Have excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Possess effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Be self-motivated regardless of the task
- Enjoy working as part of a team but able to work autonomously
We are particularly interested to hear from students with links to New Plymouth.
