Operations Performance Coordinator

Wellington

The purpose of this role is to support the Powerco Service Delivery Team and wider Operations team in the contracts, systems, information and relationships that are fundamental to the delivery of routine works on Powerco’s Gas Network.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for collaboration and a focus for systems and processes. With this eye for processes, you’ll be able to develop your skills within Powerco’s ERP system (SAP). In doing this you will be a key coordinator of financial structures associated with all routine works. This will also include assisting our Service Providers and the team members in their SAP requirements.

Additionally, you will develop a strong understanding of the processes and contracts with which Powerco Gas delivery works. Having this understanding and oversight, you will be responsible for the reporting and analysis of our Service Providers performance as well as assisting in the support in initiatives that continue to grow our partnerships with our Service Providers.

The nature of this role as a coordinator will allow you to build on your interpersonal and communication skills. Having these skills, alongside the ability to understand our systems and delivery mechanisms will allow you to grow into a leader in this space.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Delivery Performance: Understanding Powerco contracts and delivery mechanisms, supporting continual growth in these spaces.
  • SAP Systems Expert: Become a champion in Powerco’s SAP system - supporting the Operations Team and Service Providers. This facilitates work on our network that supports communities.
  • Relationships: Maintaining and building strong relationships within the Powerco team and with Stakeholders through reporting and assisting in initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

  • Comprehension of complex systems and processes
  • Comprehension of financial/ERP systems
  • Ability to develop and report information and analytics
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Basic gas or utility industry knowledge (favorable but not required)

Applications close: Sunday 28 April 2024

Our ability to get the best out of people is what sets Powerco apart. We realise that candidates – especially from underrepresented and neurodiverse backgrounds – often won’t apply for roles unless they meet ALL the criteria. We encourage anyone who shares our passion for connecting communities to apply for any role that aligns to your strengths and interests. We will provide a safe space where you can bring your whole self to work and thrive.
