About the role
As a Project Settlement Accountant, you will be part of our Finance and Reporting team, supporting the Project Settlement Team Lead to ensure the accurate settlement of completed projects into our fixed asset registers. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Powerco and external partners like service providers and auditors.
This is a specialist role where your attention to detail, analytical skills, and relationship-building abilities will shine. You’ll help maintain high settlement accuracy, meet key performance indicators, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

To be a success in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment
- Hands on experience with SAP or similar ERP system
It would be ideal if you have:
- A relevant, or working towards, tertiary qualification and ideally a CA or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a commercial environment
