We're Powerco, and we aim to provide the best energy distribution service to our customers. To be the best, we know we need to work with the best - that's why we're talking to you.

Here at Powerco, we've had a lot going on lately. We’re keeping the lights on and gas flowing to more than 430,000 homes, businesses and organisations across the North Island. All that energy generates a fair amount of work at our end, which is why we put the best teams on the job. To ensure we continue to deliver the highest standard of service, we are looking for an awesome analyst to join our 550-odd switched on staff across the country.

Right now, we're after a Network Connection Analyst to help us with creating and managing ICP management, fixing up data issues, and analysis and reporting of electricity/gas connections. This role also requires supporting implementation of system changes and process improvements.

It goes without saying your attention to detail will be top notch, and you'll be thorough, accurate and sharp when it comes to data. You will be required to enter, analyse, cross check and report on different data sets and interpret results accurately, which will be a big part of your day-to-day responsibilities. As a result, intermediate to advance excel skills is essential for this role.

We're after an inquisitive problem solver that likes to know why and how things work who will help the Billing and Reconciliation team to strive for continuous improvement. We value free thinkers who are keen to bring fresh perspectives to solving problems.

Life is good here at Powerco. You'll be joining a fun, tight-knit team of dedicated, passionate people and become part of a company that's a major contributor to the Taranaki community. In addition to our competitive salary offerings, generous leave allocations and health and wellness packages for all staff, you’re also getting the opportunity to join the fold at a company that really invests in the development of its people. We value our staff to help us to be our best, and that starts with getting you to yours.

Applications close: Friday 12 August 2022

Our ability to get the best out of people is what sets Powerco apart. We realise that candidates – especially from underrepresented and neurodiverse backgrounds – often won’t apply for roles unless they meet ALL the criteria. We encourage anyone who shares our passion for connecting communities to apply for any role that aligns to your strengths and interests. We will provide a safe space where you can bring your whole self to work and thrive.
