Reliability Analyst

We’re looking for someone who loves exploring data and finding patterns that make a difference. In this newly created Reliability Analyst role, you’ll help Powerco improve network performance, compliance, and reliability.

You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support smarter, data-driven decisions across the business You’ll work across the full analytics development lifecycle, using a range of techniques to design fit-for-purpose solutions that meet the needs of diverse teams and challenges.

This role offers plenty of variety. You might be:

  • Optimising a process to improve efficiency,
  • Building a data model and dashboard to visualise performance trends,
  • Collaborating with teams to interpret reliability data,
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance network performance

You’ll join a forward-thinking team that’s modernising how we work, experimenting with new approaches, and helping others use data in smarter, more impactful ways.

About the role

In this hands-on, exploratory role, you’ll:

  • Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities across our electricity network
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations that make technical information easy to understand
  • Work with colleagues across Electricity Programme & Delivery, Network Planning, Technical Services, and the Network Operations Centre to enable better decisions
  • Identify ways to make processes and workflows more efficient, including automating where it makes sense
  • Share insights in a clear, simple way so non-technical teams can use them effectively

This role is varied and dynamic, giving you the chance to make a real impact on how Powerco uses data to drive performance and reliability.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in data analysis, insights, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Curiosity, innovation, and a drive to continuously improve
  • (Bonus) Experience in electricity, utilities, or engineering
