Financial Analyst
New Plymouth
We are looking for someone to provide complex financial modelling and analytical solutions for the business.
You will take ownership of the Powerco’s corporate modelling services including maintenance and updating design of Powerco’s 30 year forecast model for valuation and strategic management purposes. You will also provide financial modelling services across the business as required and provide analytical services for existing and new business opportunities.
The ideal person will have good knowledge and understanding of our industry, strong business acumen, excellent modelling skills and a strong customer focus.
The successful applicant should enjoy being part of a team and working collaboratively with others to deliver optimum outcomes for the business.
You will need:
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Well developed skills in financial modelling and analysis
- Significant relevant work experience in this area, and experience related to the regulated Electricity or Gas Distribution businesses would be a significant advantage
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Sound Functional/Technical skills – A reliable expert for technical matters
- Ability to communicate technical matters concisely and clearly
