The Role
This Role exists to support the Programme Manager and wider Programme Team to maintain momentum, create visibility, and support ongoing relationships with our key stakeholders. A key responsibility of this position is to maintain our capital works Programme, using our current and any future software’s which will in turn enable you to provide accurate reports, dashboards, transparency, and decision making for the Programme management team. The person will need to work collaboratively with the Business Information Analyst, and our Programme Scheduler. The person will need to be able to successfully lead a discussion with various internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders, meaning people skills are essential.
The Team
We are a small, high impact team. We are tight knit, we communicate freely and honestly without fear, and value ideas, dreams, and innovation above all else. Our team is deployed across the Powerco footprint with offices held in Tauranga, New Plymouth and Palmerston North.
Our vision as a team is to be a beacon of light, to guide the business towards achieving its goals. We provide a critical support function to the Service Delivery, and Asset Management Teams, providing a conduit to efficacy, direction, change management.
We currently oversee a portfolio of circa 400 Capital works projects with annual budgets in excess of $100M.

The ideal candidate will have:
- great relationship management skills
- attention to detail
- the ability to adapt to change
- an understanding of risk management
- Microsoft systems experience – Excel, Sharepoint, MS Project
- good financial understanding
- the ability to collaborate effectively
- willingness to learn consistently
You may have a background and interest in planning or scheduling functions within a maintenance or project management setting.
