HSEQ Business Analyst
New Plymouth
We’re Powerco, and people are at the heart of our business. Be it the 430,000 customers we have across our gas and electricity networks who rely on us to keep the lights on, and the energy flowing, our 450 plus employees across New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wellington and Tauranga, or the hundreds of field staff who help us ensure our networks remain available 24/7.
We’ve got a lot to cover, being New Zealand’s largest electricity and gas distributor in terms of network length. And that means we’re there day in and day out making sure we deliver, as people rely on our service and it’s a responsibility we take very seriously. We’re committed to keeping our staff, public and contractors safe. In short, people are at the heart of our organisation. And that’s why we every day relentlessly strive to keep everyone safe. That’s where our HSEQ team plays a crucial role in supporting our Electricity, Gas and Corporate functions as well as our contractors who manage our networks.
Understanding what the data is telling us on our current health and safety performance is key to meeting our commitment to keeping people safe and driving continuous improvement in our Safety as Usual journey. The HSEQ Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in that journey and will support the GM Health and Safety to transform Powerco’s health and safety performance analysis and reporting
The Powerco health and safety systems and strategy are experiencing rapid and exciting changes. We have more information at our fingertips than ever before. We are improving our health and safety outcomes by making proactive data-led decisions. We need an experienced data analyst professional to provide insights and reports from this data to our business through to the board.
So you see. We think people matter. And that’s why we’ll invest in you, support you and help you create the career you’re looking for in a business that wants your views. If you’re ready to build a first-rate name for yourself in our industry and use your skills to keep people safe, let’s talk.
