Faults Mitigation Lead

New Plymouth 

Do you have a passion for improving network reliability and quickly resolving unexpected outages?

Join us as a Faults Mitigation Lead! In this role, you'll provide strategic support and guidance to tackle both potential and unplanned outages. Working closely with service providers, you'll develop and improve fault management techniques, developing continuous improvement and efficiency. Similar to a project manager for restoration efforts, you'll focus on visibility, cost, and effectiveness until each outage is successfully resolved for the Network Operations Center (NOC).

Key Deliverables:

  • Unplanned Network Outage Investigation: Investigate outages, coordinate follow-up actions, and ensure data quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for network reliability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships and ensure stakeholders are informed.
  • Health and Safety: Lead health and safety management efforts within the NOC.

Ideal Experience:

  • Investigating network outages and analysing causes.
  • Leading discussions with fault staff to propose network solutions.
  • Maintaining stakeholder relationships for effective collaboration.
  • Participating in fault review meetings and strategic asset discussions.
