About the role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to enhance your career? We are looking for a Maintenance & Minor Works Manager to support our electricity team by managing the delivery of scheduled and corrective Maintenance and Minor works projects.
If you are conversant with electricity networks, risks and have a drive for improvement of maintenance on network assets then we would like to hear from you.
Main responsibilities and deliverables include completion of works on time, both financial and physical progress reporting across all responsibilities, and ensuring all required documentation is collated and correctly saved within the system at completion.
You will be required to:
- Drive excellent health and safety outcomes.
- Have a minimum five-to-ten year’s knowledge and experience with electrical distribution networks with regards to network maintenance, operation, construction and/or design.
- Formulate the scopes of work and manage external service providers to deliver high quality outcomes on time.
- Have a strong commercial/financial acumen.
- Excellent project management skills – with a reputation for “on time, “on budget” delivery in a professional services environment.
- Provide good attention to detail and a professional attitude.
You will have:
- In depth knowledge of electricity industry legislative requirements.
- Excellent communication, report writing and documentation skills.
- Great relationship building skills with the ability to interact at various levels across the organisation and with external customers/contractors.
- Strong planning and organising skills.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel.
- Effective time management skills.
