Marketing & Design Team Lead

New Plymouth

·        Hands-on leader with a passion for design, marketing and brand management

·        Manage, influence and empower a small team of marketing and design professionals

·        Support the creation of high quality outcomes

Do you have that unique quality of being a creative… who also thinks in a structured and analytical way? You might be just the person we need!

A lot goes in to powering New Zealand’s second largest electricity and gas network. With more than 1.1 million customers across the North Island depending on us to keep the lights on and the gas flowing, we know it’s important we constantly innovate and grow, to stay at the forefront of our industry, and to keep the customer at the core of everything we do. That’s why we’re re-energising our Community and Marketing Management Team with the role of Marketing & Design Team Lead.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for design, marketing and brand management, who is driven by efficiency and effectiveness, and empowers those around them to produce their best work every time.

With a focus on digital and social channels, campaigns, marketing programmes, sponsorship activation, community engagement, as well as internal and external branding, the Marketing and Design Team is a busy one. As such, the Team Leader will need to influence and inspire the team with innovative thinking over all facets of digital and content marketing.

Along with being an effective leader of a small team, you’ll be someone who has acute attention to detail so that every Marcom deliverable is produced to a high standard. Part of this will see you managing and supporting the delivery of our project pipeline by ensuring work is captured, prioritised, allocated and meets requirements and quality standards within agreed timeframes.

To be successful in the role, you’ll need at least seven years’ experience in (digital) marketing or design management for a range of corporate organisations.

If you’re already based in New Plymouth, you’ll be more than familiar with the good life. If not, here’s your chance for an exciting challenge against the backdrop of one of the world’s most liveable regions.

If this sounds like you. Let’s talk.
