Asset Accounting Manager
New Plymouth

About the role
We are looking for a technical accounting whiz to join the Management Accounting Team.
Reporting into the Management Accounting Manager you will have an in-depth knowledge of fixed asset registers, financial reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities are:
- Registers – Manage our Accounting, Tax and Regulatory fixed asset registers to meet the needs of the business
- Project Settlements – Ensure accurate project asset cost allocations
- Reporting – Generate reports to ensure accuracy of data
- Advice and Assistance – Collaborate with and provide information to other Powerco teams
The ideal candidate
- Team focused with the ability to lead team members
- Able to communicate and collaborate with various levels in an organization
- Ability to build lasting relationships
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Proven analytical skills
- Able to multi task and set priorities
- Have experience with large ERP systems
Skills & Experience
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification
- Management accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting skills and ability
