Your Opportunity
As a qualified Physiotherapist working in Residential Aged Care, you’ll be part of a passionate and collaborative multidisciplinary team transforming allied health delivery.
You’ll contribute to something bigger — delivering care through our award-winning Plena Care Pathway, recognised with the 2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence. This industry-leading program enables you to build individualised therapy plans based on each resident's goals and lifestyle priorities. Through one-on-one sessions, group-based active aging programs, and evidence-based interventions, you'll play a key role in improving quality of life for older Australians.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will be diverse, rewarding, and people-focused. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to support activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls prevention, skin integrity, joint management, and pain relief
- Designing and delivering tailored therapy programs that improve function and support independence
- Providing one-on-one therapy interventions and group-based exercise sessions
- Participating in care plan reviews and team case discussions
- Adapting to the needs of the facility and contributing positively to the wider team
- Practising in accordance with your professional scope and the needs of Plena Healthcare’s service model
