Your Opportunity

As a qualified Physiotherapist in Residential Aged Care, you’ll join a large, collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering personalised treatments.

You’ll also be part of an exciting new approach to allied health. Our award-winning Plena Care Pathway (2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence) gives our therapists the chance to create tailored, evidence-based programs built around resident goals and priorities. This includes:

  • Individual therapy interventions
  • Group active ageing programs
  • Care plan reviews
  • Functional and mobility programs

This innovative model empowers you to deliver care that makes a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives.

Your Duties (include but not limited to):

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations across ADLs, mobility, transfers, falls prevention, equipment needs, pressure care, skin integrity, joint management and pain management.
  • Provide therapy interventions that promote independence and well-being.
  • Adapt flexibly to the needs of both Plena and our partner aged care facilities.
  • Work confidently within the scope of the Physiotherapy profession.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Australian working rights
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening and National Police Check
