Your Opportunity:
As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in a community setting, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments.
In the role you will utilise your Occupational Therapist skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes. You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways that provides optimal rehabilitation and goal achievement for our consumers.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team for optimal client outcomes
