About the Role
We are looking for a capable and people-focused People & Culture Business Partner to join our team on a 12 month maternity cover contract, with possible extension. Based in Norwood with flexibility to work from home, this is a role with variety, autonomy, and purpose.
In addition to supporting Plena Healthcare, this role also supports Grata Care Services, our team delivering leading services through Home Care Packages to older Australians.
This role would suit either a senior HR advisor ready to take the next step, or an experienced P&C Business Partner looking for a meaningful, hands-on role in a supportive and improvement-focused environment.
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll support both Plena and Grata across strategic and operational HR needs. You’ll coach leaders, manage employee relations matters, and drive initiatives that support retention, capability building, policy development, and compliance.
You’ll contribute to engagement, succession planning, workforce planning, and system improvements (including TechOne). This is a hands-on, high-impact role with a strong focus on leadership support and continuous improvement.
To succeed, you will bring:
- 3-4+ years in a HRBP or senior HR advisor role
- Strong experience in ER, investigations, and award interpretation (SCHADS and/or HPSS desirable)
- Confidence coaching and supporting leaders across a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms — TechOne experience is a plus
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery
- A strong sense of purpose and alignment to our values
