We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused State Operations Manager to lead service delivery, client relationships, and operational performance across QLD and NSW (Region specific) portfolios.

About the Role

As State Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality, efficient therapy services. You’ll lead an established, multidisciplinary team of more than 100 clinicians, including Allied Health Assistants, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. You will be instrumental in strengthening client partnerships, and driving operational and business performance, all while upholding the highest standards of clinical governance and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes and business results.
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships and ensure high service satisfaction.
  • Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and collaboration with support functions.
  • Ensure quality, risk management, and compliance with Plena’s Clinical Governance Framework.
  • Achieve business KPIs and lead new site implementations and growth initiatives.
  • Support the promotion and development of new products and services.

About You

You’re a collaborative, results-driven leader who thrives on balancing people, performance, and purpose.

You’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy (AHPRA registration required).
  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare or allied health operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with tact and diplomacy.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to achieve growth and performance targets.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to provide specialist advice and apply sound technical and clinical knowledge.
  • Permanent working rights in Australia.
