As an Occupational Therapist in Residential Aged Care, this is your chance to be part of an innovative and supportive multidisciplinary team that is making a real difference in the lives of our residents.

At Plena Healthcare, you'll be involved in an exciting, forward-thinking approach to allied health services. You'll play a key role in delivering our award-winning Plena Care Pathway—a groundbreaking model that earned the 2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence. This unique program empowers our therapists to create personalized therapy plans, aligned with resident goals and priorities, using evidence-based mobility and functional programs. You will have the opportunity to offer one-on-one therapy interventions, facilitate group-based active aging services, and contribute to comprehensive care plan reviews.

Your Role:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide clinical recommendations to support daily activities, mobility, transfers, falls prevention, pain management, and more.
  • Tailor therapy programs to meet the unique needs of each resident, with flexibility to adapt to the requirements of Plena and the aged care facilities.
  • Contribute to a positive impact on resident outcomes and promote their independence and quality of life.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and a National Police Check.
