Our Springwood office is actively looking for a Production Estimator, offering promising career paths for those with a passion for the residential construction industry.

About the Role:

Joining our Production Estimating team, you will play a vital role in quantifying and ordering materials for customer home builds based on documentation, plans, and variations. Your responsibilities are pivotal in laying the foundation for a successful build process, utilising your investigative skills, spatial awareness, and numerical reasoning to ensure precision.

Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Estimating team, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. At Plantation Homes, teamwork is paramount, and your ability to thrive collaboratively with fellow team members is crucial.

About You:

As a committed professional in the industry, you should possess:

• Understanding of the building process and estimating techniques.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements related to the QLD residential construction industry.
• Confidence in using Estimating software and performing manual take-offs as part of the quantifying process.
• Highly organised and methodical work approach with acute attention to detail.
