Plantation Homes, part of the renowned Henley Properties Group, is looking for a skilled and detail-driven Production Estimator to join our high-performing Estimating team. If you bring precision, a deep understanding of residential construction, and thrive in a fast-paced volume building environment, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a builder that sets the benchmark for quality and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Accurately order materials for full residential builds, including post-contract and building variations
- Review plans, documentation, and variations to ensure precise material orders
- Collaborate with suppliers, construction teams, and internal departments to resolve queries
- Escalate discrepancies and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Maintain estimating systems and ensure alignment with ACC targets
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in residential whole-house estimating within a volume building environment
- Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and systems (e.g., Databuild, Buildsoft, or similar)
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of building techniques, legal requirements, and quantitative analysis practices
Qualifications
- Graduate in Building and Construction OR
- Experienced tradesperson (e.g., carpenter, plumber, electrician) OR
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Estimating role
