The Opportunity: 

As a Bridge Engineer you will thrive on all aspects of structural design with a focus on bridges. This role will see you:

  • Undertake the design on bridge projects to meet the program, scope, quality and financial requirements while achieving positive design outcomes;
  • Work on various scales of bridge and other structural projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment and end of life;
  • Undertake bridge inspection work at various locations around Australia
  • Engaging with government clients, contractors and project stakeholders to drive outstanding service delivery;
  • Champion our culture of delivering on quality and client expectations;
  • Role model our expected quality and OH&S behaviours both within project delivery and on the job.

What you bring: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of Bridge Engineering experience
  • Analysis experience with SpaceGASS (mandatory) and Midas Civil (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in bridge design to AS5100
  • Experience in Road and/or Rail Bridge assessment and/or design
  • Experience in undertaking Bridge Inspections and a willingness to travel instate for up to 2 weeks if necessary, to undertake inspection work
  • Some experience in, and willingness to be involved in writing, pricing and reviewing bids, proposals and tenders
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work in Australia for at least the next 3 years using existing visa/residency arrangements.
