The Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR administrator to join our team during an exciting time of growth. As part of our broader People & Culture strategy for 2025/2026, this role plays an important part in supporting operational excellence and enhancing the employee experience across the business.

Some of the key areas for focus are:

  • HR Operations & Administration: Manage core HR processes including maintaining employee records, supporting payroll administration, and handling day-to-day HR inquiries via the HR inbox.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the end-to-end administration of onboarding and offboarding, including system setup and documentation across internal platforms.
  • Contract Variations & Visa Administration: Oversee contract changes and support the administration of visa applications.
  • Workcover & Safety Support: Partner with the safety team to manage Workcover claims and support employees experiencing personal injury or illness.
  • HR Systems & Reporting: Ensure accurate data entry and reporting across HRIS platforms and internal systems.
  • Project & Bid Coordination: Assist with P&C projects and contribute to the coordination of bid responses as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Support ongoing efforts to streamline repetitive HR processes and enhance operational efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in HR, People & Culture, or Talent Coordination, with a solid understanding of employee lifecycle processes.
  • Demonstrated exposure to onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) or similar enterprise systems.
  • Confidence in managing high-volume, repetitive tasks with precision and consistency.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in streamlining administrative workflows and working across multiple systems.
  • Sound understanding of HR practices, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with payroll software is desirable; familiarity with Chris21 is a plus.
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive information, with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and record-keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and engage effectively across all levels
