The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This role offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and local government developments, while gaining exposure to a wide range of structural materials and design approaches under the guidance of senior engineers. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to delivering practical, innovative solutions in a flexible work environment. 

What you do: 

  • Structural Design: Apply engineering fundamentals to deliver intermediate to advanced structural solutions across diverse projects. 
  • Client Interaction: Liaise with clients, design technicians, and team members to ensure practical and efficient outcomes. 
  • Design Documentation: Prepare fee proposals, tender documentation, and contribute to project planning and delivery. 
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with senior engineers and other professionals to develop your technical and project management skills. 
  • Impactful Work: Gain experience across multiple structural disciplines and make a tangible impact on projects that shape communities. 

What You Bring: 

  • Proven Design Experience: Minimum 3 + years experience in structural engineering design across infrastructure, industrial, or local government projects
  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering 
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering first principles, 3D modelling experience (SpaceGass preferred, but other analysis packages welcome), and ability to produce drawings/sketches. 
  • Project Management: Developing project management capabilities and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work. 
  • Growth Mindset: Willing to step outside comfort zone and embrace new challenges 
  • Flexible and adaptable: You embrace change and continuous improvement
