The Opportunity:
You’re the heart of the workplace and a culture champion — a confident, self-starter who thrives on creating a welcoming environment, bringing people together, and taking the lead on events, engagement, and day-to-day coordination of the workspace.
- Workplace Experience: Identify and implement improvements to optimise the office environment and employee experience.
- HR Support: Provide general HR administrative support, including managing the HR Inbox, responding to day to day queries and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Onboarding: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding of new hires, ensuring they feel supported and integrated from day one.
- Event Coordination: Plan, organise, and manage workplace events, aligning with company-wide initiatives and local office activities.
- Administrative Support: Provide cross-functional administrative support, including document formatting for project delivery, manage training and travel arrangements and provide support to our Health, Safety, and Environment team in maintaining pitt&sherry's Integrated Management System.
- Internal Communication: Contribute to the internal communication channel by sharing updates and key information with the wider business.
- Office Coordination: Manage office supplies, mail/courier services, and basic facilities management tasks.
- Work flexibly: This role is full-time but we are flexible with arrangements
What you bring:
- Minimum 2 + years experience in a fast-paced office environment working with multiple stakeholders
- A strong track record in delivering high-quality service, with a genuine commitment to creating positive experiences for employees
- Exposure to HR administration, familiar with HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding and recruitment administration is highly regarded.
- Quick learner with the capability to adapt to digital tools and new systems.
- Clear, professional and people focussed communication - both written and verbal - with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
- Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of professionalism and a passion for fostering a welcoming and inclusive workplace culture.
- Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, you embrace change and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, people-focused environment.
- MS Office skills at an intermediate to advanced level preferred
- Self motivated with strong initiative able to work independantly while contributing meaningfully to team goals and shared success
